Denim on denim

Denim on denim is a look I have been loving ever since I saw Alexa Chung wearing it over a year ago in a fashion magazine. Whilst being a big fan of this trend it is to an extent, as the same toned denim on top and bottom for me is a bit too much. I love wearing a lighter toned denim top, in this case a shirt and darker blue toned denim jeans, it lessens the look of matching pyjamas (nothing against pyjamas). I love wearing a shirt and jeans it's comfy easy and suitable (mostly) for the so called winter days in Australia and denim on denim lets this timeless look be a little more trendy and now.

A winter party & efoxcity

The 18th birthday parties continues and the weather is gradually getting colder, yet for some girls the summer attire still stays suit. I wore this outfit to an 18th birthday party because that night it was so freezing (well that's an exaggeration but it was cold and it was a backyard party). I stood out from the girls because many of them are either immune to the cold weather or value looking 'hot' over their core body temperature (another exaggeration). I'm not judging, but girls mid-drift tops and short skirts with bare legs looks weird in contrast to the gloomy weather. But then again I'm an odd girl and deeply value warmth :P

O'Bazzië Classics

My love for satchels can be prominently seen in my handbag collection. The structure and design of a satchel is so classic and timeless and a good quality one can be hung on your shoulder or arm for many many years. When I was introduced to O'Bazzië Classics I was blown away at the beautifully crafted designed, which carried that timeless flare but also a unique contemporary feel. This brand is just starting with it only being founded of January this year and estimated official launch in Spring 2014 of the US. The company's home base is in Georgetown, DC of USA and founded by Ebenezer Obasiolu.

Click here and here for product reviews on the satchels.

Here are some photos of the gorgeous O'Bazzië Classics satchels that I have fallen in love with:

Monochrome for a party

I'm the girl who usually only wear skater dresses... like ever!
I'd say 99% of the dresses in my dress rack are skater dresses, so this dress is quite the odd one out and I love it.
After being a bit hesitant to wear it and it being neglected on my dress rack, finally (with a bit of courage) wore the dress to my friend's 18th birthday party.

She had a lovely house party with catering and it was such a great time. My school friends and I were able to escape the struggles of our current schooling and just hang out, a thing that was once a regular occurrence that has unfortunately now become a rarity.
