Recently the lovely team at Sammydress sent me a dress and two tops (as seen above). I was so excited to get the items in the mail, which came in a little under two weeks.

I chose this dress because it reminded me of Self-Portrait designs with the layered and textured fabrics. The material of the dress was just what I had imagined, it was gorgeously designed and made. Although I would definitely recommend going a size up, as I am usually a small, however the top half of the dress was quite tight (and I barely have boobies haha). Also, going a size up would also help with the bandeau design of the top. The bandeau section is gorgeous, although a little impractical as big chested girls would be popping out all over the place. All in all, the dress is gorgeous and very impressive for the price.

So I accidentally wore the blue off the shoulder top incorrectly but I still loved it (the part I wore on the inside was meant to go on the outside - but hey it's one top with two looks, even better!). Both the white and blue tops were great material and fit really well. They are both perfect tops for summer and I can't wait to wear them more often on hotter days. Additionally, they are both incredibly inexpensive!

What do you guys think about these designs?

Winter Dress

Dress: Cheap Monday (similar here and here), Boots: Asos (similar pair that I love), Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Beanie: Asos (the same look and cheap similar one)

Madison Square Park, New York City

Don't mind the fact that I'm not wearing any make-up in these photos, but this is my favourite winter dress. Woolen, black and white, comfortable, flattering and on sale at urban outfitters - yes please. It was perfect for the climate in New York when we were there and also perfect for Melbourne's current chilly winter.

The Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon, AZ (USA), February 2016
Coat: Burberry

Our drive through Grand Canyon National Park had an abrupt stop at the local store. We all wondered what our tour guide was “quickly picking up”. Next thing we know we all had brown bags over our heads, holding each other’s shoulders and walking in single formation towards the glory hole (lel, I mean the Grand Canyon).

When we were allowed to take the bags off our heads, I could not comprehend exactly what I was looking at. The canyon was so large in every direction, with thousands of trees resembling grass fields and the Colorado River looking like a mere creek.

We visited various viewpoints to take in the Grand Canyon and even came across a rubber ducky rock formation (see second image). The greatest sight during our stay was the sunset over and below the canyon, I wasn't able to photograph it due to poor photography skills. Hopefully my brain will remember the beautiful rays of sun and suppress the memory of being bitterly cold.

If you have visited the Grand Canyon let me know what you thought down below!
