 Viktor & Rolf exhibition, NGV

Back in November uni wrapped up for the year and I finally had a whole day to spare, which meant checking out some of the new exhibitions and enjoying some tea at the National Gallery of Victoria.

In the last few years, there have been quite a few exhibitions celebrating fashion, from a dress collection dating back to 100 years ago, the Jean Paul Gautier exhibition and now the Viktor and Rolf exhibition. Each time I get so excited to be immersed into the beautiful craftsmanship and art of fashion.

The new Viktor and Rolf exhibitions celebrates their work as avant grade artists and fashion designers. One day I'd love to wear one of their haute couture dresses - they're crazy and gorgeous, everything I like.

We also check out the new modern art section, which had a chanel hula hoop bag displayed on a wall (#interiordecorgoals) and the bvlgari jewellery collection, which was extravagantly beautiful.

Check out some of these beautiful Viktor & Rolf dresses I found online:

Visiting the NGV is always a favourite of mine in Melbourne. What is one of your favourite things to do in your home city?

Also, I hope you have a great New Year!!

Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day filled with food, family and fun, whether you are enjoying it in the steamy Australian weather or enjoying a white Christmas somewhere in the Northern Hemisphere.

I wanted to share some photos from a recent Christmas lunch I had with a few of my friends from uni. We all bought a dish and ate until we couldn't take it no more. It was a wonderful day, topped off with some gorgeous weather. I wore this lovely shirt (my new favourite) from Gearbest. I absolutely love it, from the unusual tie in the front to the amazing embroidery on the back - it has so many great angles and details to it.

The lovely team at Gearbest also sent me this gorgeous embroidered top, which I cannot wait to wear on upcoming beach trips.

New York City, New York, USA, Feb 16'

Who knew an unused and derelict train bridge could be turned into a cultural hub and must-see tourist destination in one of the biggest cities in the world? I was told many times to visit the Highline while in New York, so we hopped on the subway, walked down a street filled with beautiful townhouses and up a few flights of stairs to this iconic space.

Although it was cold, the sun came out and sure showed off the Highline in the best light. The art on the walls, sculptures on the ground, architecture of the bridge and surrounding views screamed New York - I don't know how else to describe it then being an utterly cool place.

Being the creep I am, I loved that the bridge was elevated so I could peer into the amazing looking loft style apartments that surrounded the Highline.

It is definitely a place to visit if you are exploring New York. Has anyone been to the Highline - what are your thoughts on it?
